In terms of carry on luggage there is not a specific size limit, but the passenger must be able to carry it on their lap or by their feet without causing an inconvenience to other passengers.

Suitcases are not allowed onboard the bus as they may prevent passengers from reclining their seats. We also ask that customers refrain from putting luggage in the aisles.

The rules regarding stored luggage are as stated below.
1. One piece of luggage per customer
2. 3] The dimensions of your luggage must not exceed 250cm. One side must not exceed 200cm.
If your luggage does not fit within the parameters above we ask that you use a different means to transport your luggage.
We recommend you to clearly mark your luggage using a name tag to avoid confusion with another passenger's luggage.

The following items are not permitted as carry-on or stored luggage.

When using the trunk space on a night bus, please attach the luggage tag given to you by the bus staff. Please keep the detatchable section of the luggage ticket When retrieving your luggage please make sure to verify that the number on your ticket matches your luggage.

Important notice regarding refunds.
Refunds are not available in the following cases under any circumstances.

1.No show due to late passeneger arrival,
Buses will leave at their scheduled departure times Buses will not wait for passengers at departure points or rest stops. Please check the location of the boarding point beforehand as there is no information or guidance at the location.

2. Change in price.
The bus price may change without announcement. The bus fee is set at the time of booking any changes in fee cannot be refunded.

3. Change of bus
In case of engine trouble or changes to the bus schedule, the bus type, seat type and facilities requested may vary.


4. Delayed time of arrival
There may be delays to the arrival time at each stop due to bus suspension or delays due to road, traffic and weather conditions. Please leave plenty of time for any transport connections you may have.

Important booking information
Buses departing in the middle of the night will be listed as arriving the following day. For example, a bus departing on Dec 31 at 24:30 (= Jan 1 at 12:30am) will arrive on the morning of Jan 1.

Refrain from smoking or drinking on the bus, as well as boarding the bus while intoxicated.

Bus drivers and passengers are obligated to wear seat belts while on the highways.
Please inform the customer behind you before reclining your seat.
The schedule for rest stops will be determined by the bus company on the day of departure. We aim to take breaks every 2-3 hours but buses that have toilets may not stop for toilet breaks.

Important information regarding this bus plan
The operating bus company provides vehicle insurance (Unlimited Personal Insurance ).
In regards to carry-on luggage (small hand luggage cases) The total volume for length, width and depth can not exceed 100cm.
This route is operated both by JR Tokai Bus and JR Bus Kanto.
In the case of double decker buses the seat type on the 1st and 2nd floor may vary.
You may be seated next to someone of the opposite sex.
