Luggage restriction

Carry-on luggage

In terms of carry on luggage there is not a specific size limit, but the passenger must be able to carry it on their lap or by their feet without causing an inconvenience to other passengers.

Suitcases are not allowed onboard the bus as they may prevent passengers from reclining their seats. We also ask that customers refrain from putting luggage in the aisles.

Stored luggage in a trunk

The following restrictions for trunk luggage apply:
1. One piece of check-in luggage per passenger.
2. The total dimensions (height + width + depth) cannot exceed 155cm.

If your luggage exceeds the restrictions, please send them to your destination through other means of delivery.
Please mark it with name tags.

The following items are neither allowed as check-in luggage nor as carry-on luggage.
* Musical instruments
* Easily breakable items, as well as items susceptible to damage when exposed to vibration or high temperatures
* Valuables such as cash.
* Sporting goods.
* Bicycles
* Dangerous goods
* Furniture
* Delicate equipment
* Any weapons
* Cardboard boxes
* Animal

■Caution regarding refunds
No refunds will be provided in the following cases.

1. No show due to lateness
Buses leave on time. This bus will not wait for customers at the departure point or service area rest points . In addition, there will be no staff on-site to escort you, so please confirm the location by yourself.

2.Price fluctuations.
Fares may increase or decrease without notice. The fare price at the time of your booking applies. If a fare amount changes afterwards, no refunds in the price difference are given.

3. Change to buses
Due to engine trouble, adjustments to operation schedules and other factors, there is a possibility changes may be made to the operated bus, seat types, and the on board amenities.

4. Late arrivals
Operations may be suspended, and the arrival times at each stop may be delayed due to operating conditions, traffic, and weather conditions. No refunds will be made in such cases either.
・During national holidays, and around New Year in particular, departure and arrival times may vary greatly from the usual schedule. Please allow plenty of time for your journey, considering your next connection.

[Important notes regarding your booking]
・Overnight buses departing at midnight will arrive on the morning of the following day. A bus departing on Dec. 31 at 24:30 (Jan 1 at 12:30 AM) will be indicated as arriving on the morning of Jan. 1.
・If you wish to cancel the ticket on the day of your departure, please follow instructions on the website or at the Kosokubus.com centre.

[Important notes regarding your bus ride]
・Boarding the bus while heavily intoxicated, drinking, and smoking inside the bus are prohibited. ・If a passenger is considered to be disruptive, such as being intoxicated, they may be refused from boarding the bus or asked to disembark en-route. Please note that no refunds will be made in such cases.
・Please do not bring or consume alcohol on the bus. *Also, please refrain from bringing food with a strong smell aboard the bus (including fast food).
・On highways, both the driver and passengers are required to wear seat belts.
・Please inform the passenger behind you before reclining your seat.
・The schedule for toilet breaks is determined by the bus operating company on the day of departure. Normally, there is a break every 2 to 3 hours, but vehicles equipped with a toilet may not have breaks.

* The bus is operated with complete insurance coverage for personal injuries.
・Seats in the back row may not recline. Other seats may not recline fully.
・All seats are reserved seats. ・The crew will direct you when you board the bus.
