The operating bus company has purchased vehicle insurance (unlimited BI(Bodily injury) liability). Passengers who wish to reserve a night bus (overnight highway bus plan), make sure you specify your departure date as the day before you wish to arrive at your destination. The bus will leave at its scheduled departure time, so please allow yourself plenty of time to make your bus. Due to personal data protection, we will not be able to contact you by phone even if you are not present at the scheduled departure time. We ask for your understanding. * The last row may consist of 5 seats. * Seats in the last row may not have reclining. * Please confirm that the bus has the STAR EXPRESS logo sticker on it before boarding. * The exterior of the bus may vary based on the operating company. (We will not be using any of WILLER EXPRESS' Pink Buses for this trip.) Depending on the number of passengers, there may be occasions when we can not offer passengers neighboring seats. On buses where we offer female only seating areas, there is the possibility that a male passenger may be seated across the aisle. When trips over 400km are operated by only one driver, we will enforce special safety measures based on national guidelines For passengers boarding at Nagoya Station, Nagoya Station (West Exit) ,Nagoya South Sasashima Live, Nagoya Station (Noritake District), and Nagoya Station Taikou Street Exit (Bic Camera) are all seperate bus stops. Please check that you have the correct bus stop as per your reservation before you make your journey. Passengers that are boarding buses from Nagoya Station West Exit should make sure they arrive at the Nagoya Station Lily Fountain 15 minutes prior to departure. You will be guided to the bus stop by a member of staff 15 minutes before departure. Passengers that are boarding buses from Nagoya Sasashima Live should go directly to the bus stop ten minutes before departure. No refunds are available in the following cases: 1) No Show due to delays Buses will depart at their scheduled times even if not all passengers have shown up yet. Furthermore, we are unable to fulfill requests for late departures, because doing so would affect the fulfillment of other scheduled obligations. Please check your meeting or boarding point in advance, and arrive well on time. 2) Difference in price Fares may be subject to an increase or decrease in price without any advance notice. Under no circumstances can refunds be obtained for any price other than that at which the purchase was made. 3) Change of bus The actual bus type, seating configuration, number of seat rows, and bus facilities may differ from those scheduled An example of when this may occur is when a bus goes out of service due to mechanical trouble. 4) Delay and Suspension of service Bus service may be suspended due to road, traffic or weather conditions. Arrival time at any bus stop may be delayed for the same reason. Operation amid congested traffic in particular may cause long delays. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Important notes regarding your reservation: Night buses departing after midnight are listed as arriving on the morning of the following day. For example, a bus departing on Dec 31 at 24:30 (= Jan 1 at 0:30) will arrive on the morning of Jan 1. Important notes regarding your presence aboard the bus: * Refrain from smoking or drinking in the bus, as well as boarding the bus while drunk. Passengers who trouble or bother other passengers will not be allowed on the bus. * The bus driver and all passengers are legally obliged to fasten their seat belts. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a safe ride.
Luggage restriction
The rules regarding stored luggage are as stated below. 1) Only one or two pieces of check-in luggage per passenger. 2)If the passenger has one piece of luggage, the total dimensions(height + width + depth) cannot exceed 155cm. 2)If the passenger has two pieces of luggage, the total dimensions of both pieces of luggage (height + width + depth) cannot exceed 240cm. If your luggage does not fit within the parameters above we ask that you use a different means to transport your luggage. Please clearly mark your luggage to avoid it being misidentified. We advise the use of name tags. If you bring hand luggage on board make sure it is small enough to fit by your feet and will not be in the way of other passengers. The below items are not permitted as carry-on or stored luggage. Musical instruments. Easily breakable items, items affected by high temperatures. Cash, jewelery, stock certificates and antiques. Sports Equipment eg. surfboards, golf bags, archery bows, ski and snowboard gear, etc. Dangerous goods. Animals. Bicycles. Pets *Furniture Delicate equipment. Any form of guns and bladed items(knives etc). Bicycles (including folding bikes) Our company does not take any responsibility for damages or lose of luggage during transport.
